Fauster Johnson III better known to the entertainment community as, Freez is a very influential artist and community leader with talent, longevity, and business savvy. He is also considered by many to be “The godfather of Phoenix hip-hop."

Freez has been thriving since his debut "FreezTvRadio vol.1" was released nearly a decade ago. Determined to separate himself from the large volume of wanna-be rappers in his market, he focused relentlessly on obtaining high record sales.

FreezTvRadio Mixtape vol. 1 (the first of three installments for the series) sold more than 25k copies, making him a bestseller in his market. Volume 3 continued the pattern of only featuring top talent, which included: WC, Young Buck, Nas, Beanie Sigel, and more.

Other than FreezTvRadio Mixtape vols. 1-3, he is known for his southern-style single "Styrofoam 32" (featuring Big Moeses and Mista Flika Flame), "My Life", and "Call the Cops". He’s also the host of the popular online radio show, FreezTV Radio.

The desire to circulate good music and to tell his life’s story, are two key reasons that spawned him to pursue music professionally. "Music is an outlet for a diary, a place where I can put my thoughts and experiences to good sounds," said Freez.

Freez is no stranger to the entertainment sector and can recall participating in fashion/talent shows as young as age 3.

Not only is Freez a seasoned artist, but he's also the CEO/President of TMH Publishing which was formed in 2010. Eager to find a way to award other hip-hop talent in his area for their exemplary accomplishments, he started the Southwest Urban Music Awards (SWUMA). Almost immediately, SWUMA became one of the biggest, most credible hip-hop award shows in the South East region.

"The godfather of Phoenix hip-hop", is preparing to release his next album, Mr. Checker Board Louis this summer. His highly-anticipated album features top-tier production by: Magnum Mike, Checkin Trapps, Chris Allen, Mooney, and Mista Flika Flame and is expected to be released this summer. "I’m real confident with this release...," said Freez.
